Retrofit Steering Column Made To Fit Series:
A retrofit steering column is a column that has been sized to fit that specific application with the appropriate mounting brackets, wiring location, cup location and ignition if available in that model. Like our tri-fives! Most of our retrofit columns are built with either floor shift or column shift options.
Universal Steering Column Series:
A universal steering column is a column that can be sized to fit your application. Universal series columns were typically manufactured for Street Rods & Hot Rods but several of our customers are pushing the boundaries of where our universal column can fit for them.

ididit's, NEW Old School Straight column is our debut do-it-yourself column. This is the economical choice if you are looking for that special, custom fit for your Hot Rod. This small, sleek, uniquely designed column comes as a standard length of 36" but, you can cut it down with ease, to any length desired (as short as 6".) It is available in Paintable Steel (MSRP = $129.00) or Polished Stainless Steel (MSRP = $250.00)

ididit introduces their first Ford Top Shaft and Ford Turn Signal Switch steering columns for the 1965-66, 1967 & 1968-69 Mustangs! These made to fit columns will include Mustang style knobs & handles and male & female plugs with terminals. ididit's new Mustang columns will accept a stock Mustang steering wheel or an aftermarket wheel with an adaptor. By using the stock underdash mount and a year specific installation kit, the installation can be a breeze! The new 8-position tilt 1965-66, 1967 & 1968-69 Mustang columns are available in Paintable Steel, Chrome and Black Powder Coated. As always, all ididit columns are American Made!
