ididit introduces the Ford Top Shaft and Ford Turn Signal Switch collapsible steering column for the 1968-69 Ford Mustangs!  This made to fit column will include age specific style knobs & handles and will also include the male & female plugs with terminals.  ididit's new 1968-69 Mustang column will accept a stock Mustang steering wheel or an aftermarket wheel with an adaptor.  By using the stock underdash mount and floor mount and purchased separately installation kit, the installation will be a snap! A floor mount will come with each column purchase.   The all new 8-position tilt 1968-69 Mustang column is available in Paintable Steel, Chrome and Black Powder Coated. As always, all ididit  columns are American Made!

1968 Manual Stock Box 3006002100 Kit includes 3/4”36x 3/4” DD Coupler, 2 5/16 DD Shaft & 3/4” DD x 3/4” 36 Rag Joint

1969: Manual Stock Box 3000053434 Kit includes 3/4” 36x 3/4” 36 Rag Joint

1968-69: Rack & Pinion* 3000013449 3/4”DD x 3/4”36 U-Joint, 3000409418 18” DD Shaft. Manual Rack will also need a 3/4” DD x ? U-Joint (? = depends on manufacturers output shaft). Power Rack will also need a 3/4”DD x ? Vibration Joint (? = depends on manufacturers output shaft).

*Note: If you are using a Rack and Pinion set up you will have to design your own way to hook the column to the rack. We can help with U-Joints and shafting, but because of headers and different companies making rack kits we will need more information for you to get you the correct installation kit.
