IDIDIT Cowl Steering Box

IDIDIT Cowl Steering Boxes are designed with mini/midget sprint cars, period correct vintage racing, and rat-rods in mind and allow you to keep the vintage look in your race or custom vehicle. These cowl steering boxes are available in 8:1 and 6:1 ratios and come in various offsets and configurations. Each cowl steering box is assembled to customer's specifications.

Whether you're looking for the enhanced feedback from a manual steering box or the period correct look only available from a Schroeder steering box. IDIDIT's carefully selected suppliers cast housings from original Schroeder Steering molds using virgin A356 aluminum from U.S. foundries.  All machined components are manufactured in-house at IDIDIT's manufacturing facility in Tecumseh, Michigan on state of the art CNC lathes and mills.  After heat treatment, finishing and plating has been applied to components, our craftsmen then hand assemble each box with painstaking care to ensure the highest quality product is delivered to you.
