IDIDIT announces updates to their Ignition Steering Columns

When IDIDIT introduced our original ignition steering columns, we wanted to solve the problem of prone-to-failure mechanical components and refresh the look of the original manufacturer’s unsightly, clunky appearance and crunchy mechanical feel. The IDIDIT column solves these problems with an electronic internal switch and enhanced return spring mechanism.

IDIDIT has invested over 3 years of development to revise our ignition mechanism to make our ignition column even better! We have fully re-engineered the mechanism to have firmer detents, a stronger return spring, cleaner wiring and a sleeker ignition housing. The ignition housing is now manufactured from billet allowing us more accurate machining for a smoother feel of the key, ignition detents, and return spring. We have also revised the relay pack that comes with every ignition column that is packaged in a durable die cast aluminum housing with heavy duty wiring and connectors.
